Turkish President Abdullah Gul will pay a state visit to Iran from February 13 to 16 as the guest of his Iranian counterpart Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.
President Gul will be the first Turkish president visiting Iran for the first time in nine years.
He will be accompanied by Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu, State Minister Cevdet Yilmaz, who is also co-president of Turkey-Iran Joint Economic Commission, MPs, businessmen and journalists.
President Gul is set to meet with Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) Secretary-General Yahya Maroofi and Parliamentary Assembly of the Organization of the Islamic Conference Secretary-General Mahmud Erol Kilic.
After attending Turkey-Iran Business Council in Tehran, President Gul will also visit Iranian cities of Tabriz and Isfahan.
