Turkish Parliament Speaker Mehmet Ali Sahin attended 'Naadam' --a national day of Mongolia-- celebrations in Ulan Bator as guest of honour.

Sahin watched the show of the horses. He later proceed to another stadium to watch the archery games together with President Tsakhia Elbegdorj, Premier Sukhbaatar Batbold and Parliament Speaker Damdin Demberel.

Naadam is a traditional festival in Mongolia, also locally called "eriin gurvan naadam" meaning "the three games of men".

The games are Mongolian wrestling, horse racing and archery and are held throughout the country during the midsummer holidays.

The biggest festival is held in the Mongolian capital Ulan Bator during the National Holiday from July 11-13, in the National Sports Stadium.

"TIKA aid"

Sahin and his delegation attended the inauguration of the Islamic Cultural Center of Ulan Bator and a new mosque on Sunday.

The Turkish International Cooperation Agency (TIKA) donated office equipment, including computers, to the Islamic Cultural Center of Ulan Bator.
