UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon arrived in Istanbul on Friday to attend the UN Istanbul Conference on Somali.
Ban will also hold talks with Turkish officials during his stay in Istanbul.
Ban will meet Turkish President Abdullah Gul and Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu.
The UN conference will discuss threats against Somali's security and stability as well as ways to tackle these threats for reconstruction and development of the country.
