Auto sales in the Turkish Market in H1 rose 1.79% year-on-year.

June figures of Auto Distributers Association revealed a total of 278,255 vehicles (passenger cars and light commercial vehicles combined) were sold in H1, marking a 1.79% year on year rise.

Passenger car sales in the Turkish market dropped 1.79% down to 186,305 in H1, while sales of light commercial vehicles reached 91,950 marking a significant rise (9.91%).

A total of 60,896 vehicles were sold only in June (passenger cars and light commercial vehicles combined).

42,086 passenger cars were sold in June marking a 2.6% year-on-year rise while the number of commercial light vehicles sold reached 18,810.

Renault sold the most cars in June with 6,990 cars, followed by Ford (4,657) and Hyundai (4,235).
