Turkish energy minister said on Saturday that Azerbaijan would transport its own natural gas to Nakhichevan via Turkey.
Energy and Natural Resources Minister Taner Yildiz, who is currently in Nakhichevan on a formal visit, was received by Parliament Speaker Vasif Talibov.
Delivering a speech in the meeting, Yildiz said ties between Turkey and Nakhichevan have been improving. "Turkish Airlines fly there three days a week. The number of flights will increase. Economic relations will be boosted. Azerbaijan will bring its own natural gas to Nakhichevan via Turkey," he said.
Talibov said former Azerbaijani President Haydar Aliyev contributed to the relationship between Turkey and Azerbaijan and it has been improving since then.
