Egyptian Ambassador in Ankara Abderahman Salaheldin said they were willing to increase trade volume with Turkey.
Speaking at a meeting in Istanbul on Saturday, Salaheldin said that the trade volume between Turkey and Egypt was five billion USD, and Egypt was willing to increase this figure to ten billion USD in less than a two-year period.
Noting that Turkish businessmen increased their investments in Egypt in the past two years during the revolution in the country, Salaheldin said that Turkish investments in Egypt worth 1.5 billion USD.
