EU-Turkey Joint Consultative Committee (JCC) Working Groups meeting will be held in Brussels under the co-presidency of the head of Confederation of Turkish Tradesmen and Craftsmen (TESK) Bendevi Palandoken.

TESK said in a written statement that in the 'working groups meeting' Monday, the agenda of JCC which will be held on November 7-8 in Brussels will be discussed.

On 5 December 2006, the Committee of the Regions (CoR) Bureau gave its approval to set up a working group to monitor the enlargement process with Turkey, which is a candidate country for EU membership following the Helsinki European Council of December 1999.
