Figures of Turkey milk products announced

The amount of cow milk collected by integrated milk facilities went down 5.1 percent in November when compared to the same term last year and was recorded as 503,034 tons.

Turkey's Statistical Institute, TurkStat, announced figures of milk products on Tuesday.

According to TurkStat, the amount of drinkable milk in November went down 8.4 percent when compared to the previous month and was recorded as 91,863 tons.

The amount of cheese produced in November went down 10.2 percent when compared to the previous month and was recorded as 34,555 tons.

In the first 11 months of 2010, total cow milk collected from producers was 6.2 million tons.
