Minister invites Turkish investors to Kosovo

Kosovo's Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Forestry & Rural Development Fikrim Damka invited Turkish investors in his country.

Speaking to A.A on Friday, Damka said that there was an appropriate milieu for technology and agriculture investments in his country.

Damka said that Turkish International Cooperation & Development Agency (TIKA) was carrying out several activities in Kosovo. He added that they wanted to put Turkish agricultural methods into practice in Kosovo.

Damka said that customs tax with Albania, Montenegro, Serbia, Bosnia, Moldova and Croatia was one percent in the region, adding that labor force was very cheap, and their people were hardworking, however, there was a less working area.

Damka invited Turkish investors in Kosovo and noted that Turkish investors could export the products (they produced in Kosovo) to regional countries with a very low customs tax.

He added that foreigners could set up a company within two or three weeks in Kosovo.
