Turkish Minister of Development Cevdet Yilmaz on Sunday said they targeted increasing the national income to 1.3 trillion dollars in 2018 in relation to the 10th Development Plan.
Yilmaz stated that the 10th Development Plan would be discussed at the General Assembly of Turkish Parliament on Monday en route to Ankara in Turkey's eastern Elazig province.
"At first, we our target is to increase the national income to 1.3 trillion dollars in 2018 as part of the first stage of our 2023 vision. Turkey's income per capita was $10,500 in 2012 and we aim to increase this number to $16,000 in 2018. Turkey exported goods worth 152.5 billion dollars in 2012 and we will hopefully increase it to 277 billion dollars in 2018," Yilmaz said.
Yilmaz also added that they would enhance their efforts of reducing differences between regions in Turkey.
