Dutch Crown Prince Willem-Alexander said on Saturday that the Netherlands was the third largest investor of Turkey after Germany and Britain.
Delivering a speech at a seminar in Istanbul, Willem-Alexander said that Turkish-Dutch trade volume tripled in the past decade and it reached 7 billion U.S. dollars annually.
The two countries could also cooperate in the areas of high-technology and innovation, he said.
Turkey was an important economic partner for the Netherlands, the crown prince said.
Crown Prince Willem-Alexander and Princess Maxima will attend the celebrations marking 400 years of diplomatic relations between Turkey and the Netherlands during their visit to Turkey.
