The production per capita employed in manufacturing industry increased 3.9 percent in the third quarter of 2010 when compared to the same quarter of 2009.

It dropped 5.6 percent when compared to the second quarter of 2010, stated National Productivity Center (MPM) on Tuesday.

Production per hour worked increased 5 percent when compared to the same quarter of 2009, and decreased 3.8 percent when compared to the previous quarter.

Maximum decrease in the index of production per capita employed was set at 14.5 percent in the division named "manufacture of furniture" compared to the same quarter of 2009. Maximum increase in production per capita employed was seen in division of "manufacture of computer, electronic and optical products".

The index of production per capita employed rose 12.8 percent compared to the same quarter of 2009 in energy section. In mining section, the index of production per capita employed decreased 5.1 percent compared to the same quarter of 2009.

16 divisions production per capita employed rose compared to the same quarter of 2009 in manufacturing industry.

Maximum increase in the index of production per capita employed was set at 25.5 percent in the division "manufacture of computer, electronic and optical products" compared
to the same quarter of 2009.
