The "Wings for Life World Run" supporting research for the prevention of spinal cord mutilation will take place on May 4 in Istanbul.

The event will simultaneously take place for the first time at 10.00 coordinated universal time (UTC) in 40 separate countries, open to the participation of all.
The running will start at 11 a.m. (EET) in Turkey.

It is organized by the Wings for Life foundation which supports research for solutions to spinal cord mutilation.

Famous surfer Robby Naish, former Formula 1 pilot David Coulthard, world renowned Eddie Jordan, former Alps skier Luc Alphond, Iron Man Marc Herremans, long distance runner Sabrina Mockenhaput and several other famous sportsmen will participate in the run.

Those wishing to attend must complete the document on the "www.wingsforlifeworldrun.com" website by midnight April 20.
