Confidence for services, retail trade and construction sectors has decreased in November 2012 compared to the previous month.

Confidence indices for services, retail trade and construction sectors decreased by 7.2 percent, 4.8 percent and 3.6 percent respectively. The Confidence Index which was 103.0 for services, 99.2 for retail trade and 79 for construction in October 2012 and became 95.6, 94.4 and 76.2 respectively in November 2012.

The decrease in the Services Confidence Index stemmed from the deterioration in business situation over the past 3 months, demand-turnover over the past 3 months and demand-turnover expectation over the next 3 months.

The decrease in the retail trade confidence index stemmed from the deterioration in business activity-sales over the past 3 months and business activity-sales expectation over the next 3 months

The decrease in the construction confidence index stemmed from the deterioration in current overall order books and total employment expectation over the next 3 months.

Sectoral confidence indices can take value between 0 and 200. It indicates an optimistic outlook when the index is above 100, but it indicates a pessimistic outlook when it is below 100.
