British Trade Minister Lord Stephen Green has said that they aimed to double trade volume between Britain and Turkey by 2015.

The third Turkish-British CEO Forum was held in Istanbul on Friday. Turkish and British officials discussed proposals to lift obstacles in front of development of commercial relations and investments between the two countries.

Green said Turkey was one of the countries with which Britain was eager to boost its relations as Turkey had a great economic performance and offered several opportunities.

British and Turkish business worlds were advancing on the way to double trade volume, he said.

Suzan Sabanci Dincer, co-chairperson of the Turkish-British CEO Forum, said that Britain had an important role in the world with respect to economy and politics.

Turkey has become a center of attraction with its dynamic structure, economic and political stability, Dincer said.
