Cash toll payment will end on Izmir-Aydin expressway as of July 13, the highways administration said Wednesday.

Turkey's Directorate General of Highways said the "Torbali" cash toll payment gates on Izmir-Aydin expressway would be closed as of July 13.

Motor vehicles can only pass through the toll payment gates with toll transponder (EasyPass) or a prepaid "KGS" toll card.

The highways administration closed cash toll payment gates on Istanbul-Ankara expressway on July 1.
