The Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality will privatize 100 percent of the shares of Istanbul Seabuses Company (IDO) under a block sale model.

The Municipality will hold a tender for the privatization of IDO by receiving offers in closed envelopes and through bargaining.

Companies willing to participate in the tender need to obtain technical specifications from IDO.

The Istanbul Municipality will obtain bid bonds worth 20 million USD from those willing to participate in the IDO privatization tender.

All offers must be submitted to the Istanbul Municipality by 16:00 hours on March 31, 2011.

The offer made must be payable in full on the date the shares sale contract will be signed.
