Turkey's annual inflation rose by 8.37 percent in consumer prices and by 7.64 percent in producer prices as of June, country's statistics authority, said on Monday.

Turkey's statistical board, TurkStat, said that the annual inflation was up by 5.73 percent while it reduced by 1.86 percent in the same period last year.

The monthly inflation fell by 0.56 percent in consumer prices and by 0.5 percent in producer prices in June. It was higher than the market expectations. Earlier, the Central Bank estimated an decrease of 0.01-0.05 in consumer prices and an increase of 0.26-0.31 percent in producer prices.
