Turkish Central Bank Monetary Policy Board will hold its monthly meeting on Tuesday in Ankara.

A wide belief prevails in the Turkish financial market that the central bank will keep interest rates unchanged in Tuesday's meeting.

The meeting will have two sessions. In the morning session to be held with the participation of Cenral Bank officials and experts and the Treasury officials, the board members
will be briefed on the recent economic developments and the inflation rates.

Following the assessment of the inflation outlook in the afternoon session the board will announce its decision with a press conference at 7:00pm.

The CB which has cut interest rates by 8.5% in 2009, did not make any changes in the past four months.

CB's current borrowing overnight interest rate is 6.5% while the lending interest rate stands at 9%.
