Turkish Central Bank's 2nd Market Survey for April, showed the annual CPI expectation of Turkish market as 8.15%.

CB's second survey in April --carried out with experts and decision makers from the financial and real sectors and professionals-- showed that the markets' expected the annual inflation in 2010 to be 8.15%, down from 8.24%,projection of April's first survey.

Results of the second survey of expectations for April 2010 showed the markets expect:

-annual account deficit to be 25.8 billion USD ( 23.3 billion USD in 1st April survey).

-annual growth rate to be 4.4% (4.3% in the 1st survey)

-annual growth rate for 2011 to be 4.6% (4.5% in the 1st survey)

-year-end buying rate for USD to be 1.5685 TL (1,5773 TL in the 1stsurvey)

The aim of the survey is to find out the expectations of experts and decision makers from the financial and real sectors and professionals, pertaining to consumer price (CPI) inflation, interest rates, exchange rate, current account balance and GNP growth rate.

The Survey is conducted twice a month, in the first and third weeks of every month.
