Turkey’s Gross Domestic Product increased by 2.3 percent at constant prices in the first quarter of this year, from the same period in the previous year, the Turkish Statistical Institute announced Wednesday.

The GDP increased to 30.89 billion Turkish liras ($11.24 billion) at constant prices.

The GDP increased by 7.8 percent at current prices compared with the same quarter of previous year in the first quarter of 2015, TurkStat said.
