A Turkish businessmen's association arrived in the United States on Wednesday to hold talks.

Members of the Independent Industrialists' & Businessmen's Association (MUSIAD) will meet U.S. businessmen at the Rutgers University in New Jersey, and attend the inauguration of American Turkish Chamber of Commerce (ATCOM).

Sixty-five members of the association, headed by Chairman Omer Cihad Vardan, will proceed to Washington D.C. on Thursday and meet Turkey's Ambassador to the United States Namik Tan.

MUSIAD members will hold talks at the U.S. Department of Commerce. They will participate in an event at the United Nations (UN) headquarters in New York on Friday and a reception hosted by Turkey's Consul General in New York Mehmet Samsar the same day.

The delegation are also expected to participate in several inauguration ceremonies in New Haven and Boston, and depart from the United States on June 8.
