Turkey's revenue from textiles and raw materials exports, excluding apparel, has risen by 7 percent since 2013, according to the data released by the Istanbul Textile and Apparel Exporters' Association (ITKIB) and Turkey Exporters Assembly (TIM).
The data shows that the sector's exports reached US$8.3 billion in 2013.
The country exports more than US$3.8 billion-worth of textile products to European countries.
The main importing countries for Turkey's textile and raw materials are Russia, Italy, and Romania, worth US$1.16 billion, US$837 million, and US$329 million, respectively.
