The decline in Turkish auto exports slowed down in September and was in single digit after double digit falls in both July and August.

According to the records of the Assembly of Turkish Exporters (TIM), exports of the Turkish automotive sector went down 8.14 percent in September when compared to the same month last year and was recorded ast 1.5 billion USD. Between January and September, Turkish automotive exports went down 6.45 percent when compared to the same term last year and was recorded as 14.04 billion USD.

The decline in Turkish auto exports was caused by the economic crisis in Europe.
