Union of Chambers & Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Chairman Rifat Hisarciklioglu has said that Turkish businessmen would explore opportunities in Serbia.

Meeting with Serbia's Minister of State Suleyman Ugljanin and Serbia's Ambassador to Turkey Dusan Sapsojevic, Hisarciklioglu said that Turkey was the first ranking country in the world about industrial zones and he offered sharing that experience and supporting Serbia in establishment of an industrial zone.

Hisarciklioglu said that Turkish businessmen should be encouraged to explore investment and privatization opportunities in Serbia, especially in Sanjak region and added that business forums should be organized between two countries.

Ugljanin stated that one or two big Turkish investors could be a turning point for Sanjak region, which has the qualified labor force and productive industries but the investors. He said that both countries would benefit from such investment in the long run.
