Governor of Turkey's Central Bank, Durmus Yilmaz, said Tuesday they expected year end inflation in 2010 to be somewhere between 6.5 and 8.5 percent.

In a press conference held to introduce the Inflation Report pertaining to the second quarter of 2010, Governor Yilmaz said that they expected year end inflation to be 0.9 points less than the previous expectation based on declining price of food and oil.

We expect the end of year inflation in the year 2011 to be somewhere between 3.6 and 7.0 percent. Further, we expect inflation figure to drop to 5.0 percent in the year 2012, Yilmaz underlined.
