Turkish exports increased 10.9 percent to 102.1 billion USD in January-November period of 2010 when compared to the same period of 2009.

Turkish exports increased 10.9 percent to 102.1 billion USD in January-November period of 2010 when compared to the same period of 2009.

Imports also rose 31 percent to 164.9 billion USD in the mentioned period, stated Turkey's statistics authority, TurkStat, on Thursday.

Foreign trade deficit rose 85.7 percent to 62.7 billion USD in January-November period of 2010 when compared to the same period of 2009. It was 33.8 billion USD in Jan-Nov. 2009.

Exports coverage imports, which was 73.1 percent in January-November period of 2009, dropped to 61.9 percent in the same period of 2010.

Turkish exports were 92.08 billion USD and import were 125.9 billion USD in January-November period of 2009.
