Turkish firms to join over 100 int'l trade fairs in 2011

Turkish companies are set to participate in as many as 115 trade fairs abroad in 2011 in an effort to boost its exports volume.

The trade fairs in different parts of the globe from South Africa to China as well as Russia and the United States will offer an opportunity for the Turkish companies to present their export items in sectors such as textiles, jewelry, automotive and construction.

In 2006, Turkey participated in 212 trade fairs abroad, and in 2009 it participated in 137 trade fairs.
