The government has increased the volume of loans to small and medium enterprises to 3.5 billion Turkish lira.

The government has increased the volume of loans to small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to 3.5 billion Turkish lira (TL).

Turkish Industry and Trade Minister Nihat Ergun told reporters on Thursday, "earlier, amount of export loan support program and growth loan support program was calculated as 2.5 billion TL. Later, we decided to increase it to 3.5 billion TL."

"Some seven thousand SMEs have applied to benefit from the export loan support program. And we will provide 65 thousand firms with the growth loan support program," he added.
