Turkish-Kuwaiti JEC meeting to take place on May 26-27

The Turkish finance minister left for Kuwait on Tuesday.

Turkey's Finance Minister Mehmet Simsek will participate in the Turkish-Kuwaiti Joint Economic Committee (JEC) meeting in Kuwait.

The meeting will take place on May 26-27.

Simsek will meet Kuwaiti Amir Sabah al-Ahmad al-Jabir al-Sabah, Prime Minister Nasir al-Muhammad al-Ahmad al-Sabah, Finance Minister Mustafa al-Jassim al-Shamali, and Commerce and Industry Minister Ahmad Rashid al-Haroun.

Minister Simsek will also have talks with executives of the Kuwait Chamber of Commerce, and Kuwait Investment Authority.

Simsek is expected to return to Turkey on May 28.
