Financial market supervising agencies of Turkey and Maldives have launched a cooperation protocol.

Turkey's Capital Markets Board (SPK) and Maldives' Capital Market Development Authority (CMDA) initiated the cooperation protocol in a ceremony in Istanbul on Wednesday where SPK Chairman Vedat Akgiray and CMDA Chairman Fathimath Shafeega penned "the Regulatory Dialogue" paper, the Turkish board said.

The agreement between the two agencies is aimed at cooperation in regulation and training.
