Turkish firm will establish a factory in Saudi Arabia to manufacture modular houses.

Mustafa Sak, president of the executive board of the ADOPEN, said, "we have established our first factory in the southern province of Antalya to manufacture modular houses. Now, a similar factory will be built near Riyadh."

"Our environment friendly and easy-to-built houses have drawn attention of Saudi investors. After a year of research and development works, we have decided to establish a factory in Saudi Arabia to manufacture modular houses. A giant investment has already begun. This factory will provide quick solutions to housing projects in Saudi Arabia," he said.

Founded in 1997 as one of Turkey's basic plastic industrial establishments, ADOPEN was ranked 219th among the 500 biggest industrial establishments of Turkey last year. ADOPEN exports its products to 56 countries. In 2001, ADOPEN acquired Plaspen, one of the leading companies in the business, and began carrying out its activities under the name of ADOPEN PLASTIK ve INSAAT SANAYI A.S. ADOPEN opened one of the largest PVC profile production plants in the Middle East and Europe which extends on an area of 220.000 m2 at Antalya Industrial and Commercial Zone in 2003.
