The United States displaced the European Union (EU) as China's largest export market.
According to Chinese Ministry of Commerce figures, trade between China and the US in the period between January and November 2012 was up by 8.2 percent and reached 438.62 billion US dollars.
China's exports to the US increased by 8.2 percent to 319.4 USD and China's imports from the US increased by 8.1 percent and reached 119.2 billion US dollars in the first eleven months of 2012.
In the same period, trade volume between the EU and China dropped by 4.1 percent to 302.3 billion US dollars.
The US investment in China increased by 11.6 percent to 2.4 billion USD.
