The stock market opened higher on Tuesday as technology companies' shares rebounded from downfall.
The Dow added 43 points to start trading at 21,279 points and the S&P 500 rose 6 points to 2,436 points.
The Nasdaq increased 37 points to begin the day at 6,213 points. The index fell 146 points, or 2.3 percent, in the past two trading days -- on Friday and Monday.
Tech stocks have begun recovering early Tuesday. At the opening bell, Apple and Microsoft shares increased 1.1 percent each.
