The World Bank forecast on Wednesday Turkey's year-end growth around 4.1 percent.

The bank released its "Global Economic Prospects: 2011" report in which it projected Turkey's year-end growth around 4.1 percent.

The report said Turkey would grow around 4.3 percent in 2012.

"In the Europe and Central Asia, the regional aggregate is dominated by Russia and Turkey, which together comprise nearly 75 percent of regional GDP, and which posted strong outturns of 3.8 percent and 8.1 percent, respectively," the report said.

The report said, "Turkey's recovery was more vibrant?a reflection of strengthening domestic demand, supported by rising foreign capital inflows, and an accommodative monetary and fiscal policy."

"Unemployment rates appear to have peaked and are falling in Russia and Turkey," the report said.

The report also said, "the pickup in Turkish imports is a partial reflection of the sharp increase in foreign capital contributed to an appreciation of its currency inflows, which helped boost credit growth and contributed to an appreciation of its currency."
