Year-end inflation is expected to drop to 7.30 percent according to a bi-monthly survey conducted by the Turkish Central Bank.

The survey for the first half of December revised the figure down from 8.1 percent from a similar survey for November.

The bank also revised its economic growth expectation for year-end up from 7 percent to 7.2 and it put the figure at 4.9 percent for end of 2011.

The survey said consumer price index for December would stand at 0.42 percent. The figure was 0.87 percent in a last month's second survey.

The survey put year-end current deficit level at 41.31 billion Turkish liras from 39.98 billion Turkish liras in the second survey for November.
