Dutch Prime Minister Jan Peter Balkenende said there were several dozen Dutch passengers on board the Libyan Airbus plane that crashed when trying to land at Tripoli airport on Wednesday.
In a televised news conference, Balkenende said he could not be certain about the exact number of Dutch victims, but added a crisis team had been set up at the Foreign Affairs Ministry.
He did not provide any further details on the Dutch child said to have survived the crash.
