France gives two options to Greece

World Bulletin / News Desk

According to French Finance Minister Michel Sapin Greece is left out with only two options: continue negotiations or face exiting the euro.

Mr. Sapin stated, 'The talks can restart at any moment. It's these negotiations that will allow Greece to overcome its immediate problems and remain in the euro'. Emphasizing that it is important to have Greece in the eurozone.

France is one of the EU members that had quite soft approach towards Greek problem and was willing to assist in overcoming the present crisis. 'Personally, I was hurt when the Greek government decided to cut off the talks, while thanks to France in particular, the question of the debt burden was going to be discussed', Sapin admitted.
