A Greek court on Thursday sentenced eight Turkish pro-coup soldiers to two months in prison for illegally entering the country.
The ruling came during a hearing held for the soldiers who fled to Greece in the wake of an attempted coup in Turkey on July 15.
At least 246 people, including members of the security forces and civilians, were martyred in Istanbul and Ankara, and over 1,530 others were wounded as they protested against the coup.
The eight soldiers appeared in court to face charges of illegally entering Greece and violating Greek airspace.
