An official with the Greek Cypriot administration was sent away as he participated unannounced in the meeting of Turkish Cypriot President Dervis Eroglu with Equatorial Guinea's President Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo in New York on Wednesday.

It was understood that a Greek Cypriot official attended the meeting between Mbasogo and President Eroglu of Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) without giving notice beforehand.

Upon complaint of TRNC delegation as Greek Cypriot official was violating diplomacy ethics, UN officials escorted the Greek Cypriot official out from the meeting hall.

Within the scope of his talks in the UN in New York, Eroglu held meetings with officials from Kuwait, Somalia and Equatorial Guinea today.
