Within the framework of Kosovo's independence anniversary celebrations, staged at the Hot Seat theatre in Prizren where the bitter memories of the Kosovo War were relived by well known theatre actors.

The Prizren Cultural House in Kosovo has played host to many cultural and artistic programmes year round. One of these was the Hot Seat Play which was done jointly with the Kosovo National Theatre and the Prizren State Theatre.

Many theatre lovers and Kosovo parliament members were audience members who watched the play that took on board thousands of innocent people who have been killed as a result of war, with references in particular made to the Kosovo war.

Written bu Sool Plakolli and directed by Fetah Pacarizi the Hot Sea play, has been on the stage since 2010. Director Fetah, speaking about Hot Seat, said: "Today we remember the war and while this gives us pain, we present this task to the artists: to not forget the past, and to remember this. We know the cruelty that had occurred and with this mind we wished to present this play with Kosovo National Theatre artists. Our play, isn't just in Kosovo but will also be in theatres throughout the Balkans".

Those martyrs who lost their lives in the 1998-1999 Kosovo war have not been forgotten. The play was quite emotional and was greeted warmly by the audience.
