Greece police have released the photographs of four Turkish citizens arrested in Athens. The arrested people have been identified as Huseyin Fevzi Tekin, Bilgehan Karpat, Cengiz Bayır, Murat Korkut.
The four Turkish men were arrested in an anti-terror raid on Monday in Greece.
Huseyin Fevzi Tekin was an important member of outlawed Turkish leftist group DHKP-C and wanted by Turkey's police. Fevzi Tekin was arrested in posession of a fake Bulgarian identification card. According to reports in Greek media based on police intelligence, investigations have revealed that Tekin's fingerprints matched those found on weapons captured on a boat off Chios Island last summer.
Cengiz Bayır, 41-year-old, captured in possession of a fake identity, is being held on suspicion of involvement in the 1996 murder of Ozdemir Sabanci, a famous Turkish businessman, media reports said.
