Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin had to change cars in central Moscow after his armoured limousine had a puncture caused by "unidentified metal objects", his spokesman said.
"A tyre of his car was punctured when the motorcade drove. Putin switched to a reserve car and we drove on," Dmitry Peskov said, adding that Putin arrived in his office where he later chaired a government meeting on the budget.
Putin lives in the Novo-Ogaryovo residence outside Moscow and is driven to work along Kutuzovsky Prospekt, one of Moscow's busiest thoroughfares, which is blocked for other traffic when his motorcade passes.
