Thousands of women on Saturday took to the central London streets in a bid to protest male violence targeting women and children.
The annual "Million Women Rise" march call itself the biggest global one for women’s rights.
“To live without fear, without threats, without abuse, is a human right!”, one placard read, while another was reading “Together we can end male violence against women.”
The marching groups gathered at Oxford Street and marched to the Trafalgar Square.
Many political parties and NGOs, including the Amnesty International, Greenpeace, Women’s Equality Party, the Green Party and Syria Solidarity Campaign attended the march.
