A bomb from the World War II (WWII) which was found on Saturday in the center of Belgrade, on Sunday was transferred to the military training center in Nikinci village to be destroyed on Wednesday, confirmed Serbian Ministry of Interior.

The aircraft bomb from the World War II, which is confirmed to have a great destructive power, was found in the center of the Serbian capital during the construction works.

Serbian PM and Minister of Interior Ivica Dacic together with Defense Minister Nebojsa Rodic on Saturday night visited the place where the bomb was found and said that the bomb will be transferred and destroyed in Nikinci.

The found explosive is a German aircraft bomb type SC1000 that dates from the WWII. It weights over one ton. The bomb was carried by military aircraft "Henkel 111".

It was found in the soil in 6 meters depth.
