A passenger train from Adapazari to Istanbul collided with another train coming from the opposite direction in Kocaeli province.
32 people, one of them seriously, were injured in the accident , governor said on Thursday.
The accident happened when last car of one of the trains on separate tracks derailed and fell over in front of the other.
Speaking to the A.A correspondent, Kocaeli Governor Gokhan Sozer said 32 people were injured in the train crash.
The injured passengers were taken to nearby hospitals.
