A 68-year-old man was killed on Monday when debris from a demolished building next door fell on his shanty house in Turkey’s capital Ankara.
A 68-year-old man was killed on Monday when debris from a demolished building next door fell on his shanty house in Turkey’s capital Ankara.
Debris from the demolition of the five-storey building fell on Ocal Cetinkaya’s house in the capital's Altindag district, killing him instantly.
Ambulance and firemen were called to the scene.
Parts of the collapsed building also caused damage to a nearby store.
The demolition was part of an urban development.
