An earthquake measuring 4.4 on the richter scale hit the Cavdarhisar region of Turkey’s Kutahya province located to the west of Turkey.
No victims or damage have been reported so far.
Turkey is situated in a seismically active zone and the earthquakes often leading to human losses occur in this country very frequently. The strongest fluctuations of the earth's crust in Turkey were recorded in 1999 in the Marmara sea region.
