The lowest air temperature in Turkey was measured as -17 degrees Celsius in eastern province of Agri on Sunday night.

Regional Directorate of Meteorology in eastern province of Erzurum stated Monday that the low air pressure from Central Mediterranean still continued to affect eastern Anatolia.

The heavy snow blocked roads to ten villages in Erzurum and 17 villages in Agri.

The municipality teams have been exerting efforts to reopen those roads to traffic.
