The coup on 3 July 2013 in Egypt was discussed in Istanbul on Thursday in a conference called as “Test of the world in the face of military coup against people's will”.

According to the final declaration of the conference under the title “Test of the world in the face of military coup against people's will” on Thursday, the coup in Egypt was condemned and delegations will be sent to Egypt to determine the situation in the country.

Final declaration of the conference also determined a civil road map for Egypt.

The Secretary-General of the Forum of Muslim Thinkers, Dr. Sami Al Sadi, said Tuesday in a press conference that participants will analyze how the international community responded regarding military coup against people's will and freedoms and initiatives that harm Arab Spring.

Sadi added they will discuss a secure road map on how people can achieve freedoms by their free will.

The conference was co-organized by the Forum of Muslim Thinkers and the Forum of Muslim Parliamentarians.

Prominent thinkers and academics debated topics such as “Democracy in Islam World: Turkey and Malaysian examples.”
